We Teach Endless Possibilities

Within our network of public charter schools we spark curiosity and our students ask questions. We collaborate on real issues and our students see the world from a new perspective. We view learning as meaningful opportunities focusing on science and technology, the use of digital tools, and emphasizing school-wide and individual character building.

Schools are about students and our students are at the center of every decision we make. From our Kindergarteners, Middle School 8th graders, and graduating seniors we design learning that engages creativity, motivates critical thinking, and inspires collaboration. In turn, our students stretch and grow beyond their wildest imaginations preparing them for future of endless possibilities.

Cambridge

Cambridge International prepares school students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. We are part of the University of Cambridge. Cambridge Pathway gives students a clear path for educational success from age 5 to 19. Schools can shape the curriculum around how they want students to learn – with a wide range of subjects and flexible ways to offer them. It helps students discover new abilities and a wider world, and gives them the skills they need for life, so they can achieve at school, university and work.

COMPREHENSIVE CURRICULUM

Our developmentally responsive curriculum provides dynamic learning activities that allow students to grow in confidence. A balance of content mastery and skill development ensures that students are ready for their next exciting learning opportunity. The elementary and middle school curriculums are based upon the state curriculum frameworks and course description by the Florida Standards and the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards prescribed by the Florida State Department of Education.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

Learning outside the confines of the Advantage Academy campus provides significant opportunities for growth and discovery. It begins with our Kindergartners visiting the Glazer Children's Museum, then onto the Florida Aquarium. Fourth graders experience the Tampa Bay Historical Center, sixth graders the Manatee Viewing Center. Our middle schoolers take an annual trip to the Kennedy Space Center.
